This years staging of the farmers market got off to great start on Friday at the Stearns Square downtown. There were 14 vendors selling everything from fresh produce and prepared foods to natural soaps and other artisanal items.
The market will be held every Friday starting at 11 am until the close of the season in the Fall. The title sponsors for this year is the Westfield Bank.
