East Side
Baltimore, MD: Baltimore Farmers Markets unveils “B-side”, a special once a month extension of the farmers’ market. With food and drink vendors, along with local artists, check it out starting June 12 at the usual farmers’ market spot underneath the Jones Falls Expressway.
Easton, PA: People of West Ward now have an extra spot to hang out this summer! Every Wednesday from June 1st thru September, you can enjoy the warm weather while you can and get yourself some fresh produce and some decent music at the West Ward Market along 12th Street.
Upstate New York: Check out Gusto’s Guide for Farmers Markets 2022. It lists all the farmers markets in Erie and Niagara Counties. I would definitely bookmark this page.
West side
Denver, CO: South Pearl Street Farmers Market is now open! Enjoy the warm weather while you browse over 160 vendors, food trucks, and listen to live music! This event is every Sunday from 9a – 1p on South Pearl Street. This sounds so massive and so awesome!
Pasco, WA: The 2022 Pasco Farmers Market season kicks off with a bang in the newly renovated Peanuts Park. Every Saturday from 8a – 12p, come out and support your local vendors while enjoying the summer sun, fresh produce, and of course, live music.
San Rafael, CA: Unfortunately this year, the San Rafael Farmers’ Market has been canceled! While that does absolutely suck, AIM, the nonprofit that runs the market, has partnered with Pond Farm Brewing Co. to offer $30 “bounty boxes.” Plus customers who use CalFresh/EBT receive $10 off. These boxes offer 15 lbs of seasonal fruit, herbs, salad fixings and vegetables. That sounds great!
Midwest
Flint, MI: Now this isn’t the usual Farmers Market news, however I want to mention it anyway. This past Saturday over 100 students from the Westwood Heights Hamady arrived for their PROM at the Flint Farmers’ Market location. I hope they had a blast!
Holland MI: The Holland Farmers market 2022 season starts May 18 and runs every wednesday and saturday, rain or shine, from 8am – 2pm. Check out the market at the 8th Street Marketplace in Downtown Holland.
South Side
Montgomery, AL: On May 21, come out with the kids and the rest of the family to the grand opening of the 18th annual Farmers Market at The Shoppes at EastChase. There’ll be live music, activities for the kids, prizes, and 100% locally grown produce. What’s better than knowing your food basically came from right down the street?? Visit the market every Saturday from 7am – 12pm, till September 17.
